Fireplace Restoration & Redesign

If you have a practical fireplace but want a modern design to fit the rest of your home, a fireplace remodel is the ideal solution. Fireplace remodeling includes refacing the exterior surface surrounding your fireplace (called the fireplace surround) with stone veneer. Refacing a stone fireplace is an affordable and less time-consuming way to add value and beauty to your home.

Custom Restoration Inc.'s stone veneers fit any aesthetic style. Stone veneer is a great material to enhance the look of a fireplace hearth or accent wall. Veneers offer the same texture as mined stone but are easier to install and repair.

What Our Customers Say

I highly recommend Custom Restorations for any of your masonary needs! They did such a great job with tuck pointing on my house in the Pasadena neighborhood of Wauwatosa, WI. Communication was excellent and the team made sure to address any and all areas. Scott & John are phenomenal to work with. Can’t recommend enough!

Connor Braun

We’ve used Custom Restoration for two masonry projects on our Southeast Wisconsin home, and both experiences have been excellent. The first was a partial chimney rebuild, and from the very beginning, Scott (the president) stood out. He came out personally to assess the project and was genuine, transparent, and never pushy—something we didn’t experience with other companies we received quotes from. While his estimate wasn’t the lowest of our available options, it was still very reasonable, and his honesty and professionalism made him the clear choice. He was easygoing, knowledgeable, and made us feel confident that we were in good hands. He also took the time to answer all of my (many!) questions over email leading up to the project, which really spoke to his level of care and customer service. His crew did a phenomenal job, and we were so happy with the results that when we needed foundation repairs a year and a half later, we didn’t even consider getting additional quotes—we went straight back to Custom Restoration. Once again, the work was completed quickly, professionally, and beautifully. I would highly recommend Custom Restoration to anyone in need of masonry work. If you’re looking for honesty, quality craftsmanship, and fair pricing, this is the company to call—you won’t be disappointed.

Allison Vento

This is the second project that Scott and his team have done for me. The work has been done properly and was fairly priced. They are so kind and the communication has been great. I would highly recommend Custom Restoration for any masonry work.

Jonathan Rosenow

Choosing the right contractor usually means prioritizing two out of three key factors: price, speed, and quality. However, Scott’s business defies expectations by excelling in all three areas! The team's professionalism, dedication, and craftsmanship were apparent throughout! The masons are not only genuine and friendly, but also well experienced. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of their work and could not be more satisfied with the results. I had full exterior work done with plugging holes, mortar, chimney, and underneath the window sills.I highly recommend Custom Restorations!

Justin Vendette

Excellent work on our 1970’s building. All our windows leaked and Custom Restoration was able to repair around each window and replace block. Their team was efficient, professional and got the job done. Now the spring is here and we’ve had the first few rain storms, it’s amazing that there are no more leaks and our window sills remain dry!
