Our mission, to provide a quality service with a foundation made of distinct workmanship, and built with pride in our work, honesty, determination, and a company that is fun to work for while making safety a priority.
While starting in the residential market at our conception, Custom Restortion Inc. has seen tremendous growth over the past eight years. During this time we have had the opportunity to obtain and complete projects of up to $300,000.00. A few of our recent historical restoration projects include the Kenosha Lighthouse, the Racine Railroad Station, the Kemper Center and several historical residential projects as well.
Masonry 101 Structure Cracks
Over time, buildings will start to move and settle. When this takes place, structural cracking within the masonry joints commonly occurs. Common areas to inspect for these types of failures are near any doors or windows. These cracks typically run off the corners of the openings. Tuckpointing is the correct fix in this situation, and by catching the problem early, you can get the joints sealed before water finds its way in. This is very important, especially due to Wisconsin's unforgiving winters. Moisture trapped in these cracks in the colder weather will freeze, expand, and can cause much larger and more expensive problems.
CRI offers several services such as tuckpointing, caulking, chimney repair and rebuilding, waterproofing, cultured stone installation and repair and custom masonry designs. CRI also completes fire pits and new masonry construction projects.
